![]() I have decided to get an H pipe and headers for my car. I was looking for some input on what type of headers I should get. Long tube or shorties? Also, what brand people like and have had luck with.
Skyman also said in an earlier post I could get the headers and h pipe used. I have no idea how to go about buying them used and I would appreciate any help on that subject. Thanks, Mark

![]() Go with the long tubes. Better torque curve and more HP especially for a combo like yours. BBK is popular and they are alot better than Mac. You can go used, but I went that route and ended up buying new ones because I had problems with the used ones. Your call, but buying used can be a PITA especially if you have to deal with shipping. You get what you pay for with headers, if money isn't too much of an issue look at the Bassani step headers or I think Hooker makes a really nice set too, though I've never used either, just heard good things. Just my .02

![]() I agree, get long tubes and get it over with.
I suggest 1 & 5/8" Bassani's and a Bassani x-pipe.

![]() I also have to pass emmissions here Colorado every two years. If I get an off road x pipe and headers am I going to be able to put the old h pipe on or is it going to be a huge pita with the new headers?
I think I am going to go with BBK because of the cost issue.
