![]() The 94-95 computters are finicky about cams. Two of the cams that I've seen work are the Steeda #19 and the Crower 15511 cam. The Crower made more power.

![]() I've seen two cams work well too:
Steeda #19 and Crane 2031.

![]() What would I need to change if I went with the Steeda #19? Would I need to have a new chip progammed for the setup or reset the computer?

![]() No, a chip shouldn't be necessary. I would upgrade the valve springs, retainers, and keepers though.

![]() But they're nearly 10 years old now.... and their open and seat pressures weren't that high to begin with.

![]() As I have owned a 94 Cobra, I hope I can help. I had no problems running the E and F cams from FRPP. Granted, those are like bungholes, everybody's got one. I've heard the "rumor" about the computers not liking a cam swap, and in my experiance, I had a few idle issues with the F cam, but those issues were solved by adjusting my TPS. I don't know much about the other cams, just what I've read and heard, but everybody that has one won't change them out. I guess that says alot.
As far as the Computer goes, I can't help out much in that area. Sorry about that. Anyway, hope to have helped in some way. Later.
