I think you meant to type 3924's. Anyway, I believe you can get a Autolite 3926, which would be one step hotter than stock and two steps hotter than a 3924.

I'm not a plug expert, but it is my understanding that for a Ford, Autolite xx25 is the stock heat range, 24's are one step colder. Unfortunately Autolite doesn't make a 3925. So I guess you should look into Motorcraft or NGK's.

I don't know the Autolite number, but I run AC Delco R44XLS in my 6032 heads. For nitrous I run R43XLS with a smaller gap without any problems on a 125hp shot.
I tried Champions (RN12YC) and didn't care for them at all.

Personally, I'd stick w/ either the autolites or Motorsport plugs.....don't waste your $$$ on NGK or any other platinum plugs.

NGK's are regarded by many professionals as one of the best plugs on the market, and they are not expensive, so I'm missing your point entirely?

the point is that different plugs really don't do much of anything performance wise. we've had this discussion. just buy autolite or motocraft plugs. if you want a better spark, get a better coil or ignition box, plugs aren't gonna do it.

Have you heard of higher quality construction and durability for the same price?

NGK plugs are excellent plugs. No fancy gimmicks like split fires or platniums, just very well designed and constructed copper core plugs. They sell for around $1.50 each where I live. Sometimes they're a little harder to find though... just about every big auto parts chain sells Autolite, Motorcraft, and Champion.

NGK's are a bit more where I'm from. If you're not spraying/blowing.....a plug is a plug is a plug. You're not gonna get more hp or better ET's from an NGK over a Autolite/Motorsport....so the point is, it's a preference thing!

Thanx for all the replies, I think I will give NGK's a try and see how they do.
