Best Power Adder?

Hey guys,
I'm gonna be doing some work to my car this summer but not a hell of a lot because i'm still a student and don't have too much $. I eventually want to put some sort of power adder in there but I'm not sure which kind. This won't be for a few years though.

I was wondering what you guys think about it.
NOS, supercharger, or turbo.
If you guys could tell me about how much I would have to prep my engine for each one that would be great.
Thanks in advance
Scott

your going to get alot of message here from people telling you there experiences with there specific power adder, my advice to you is to figure out what you want from a power adder.

Thanks lx mike,
Thats a good point.
In addition to the above post:
I want to get a car that is streetable with the occasional trip to the drag strip. I want to be able to take it on the highway at least short distances but I want to smoke the slomaros and the firechickens out there with ease.
Thanks guys
Scott

personally, i would go for the turbos if you have the means. They make power like nothing else. However, they do take the most work to install, of the three choices. I think that you would be eternally happy with them though.oh yah, they cost more more to. but real power doesnt come cheap. A supercharger base kit can be not to much doh, lots of fun to drive, and not to tough to install, not quite the torque kick that the turbos have but a lot less expensive.

I'd go blower. Turbos are expensive, but cool. However, a blown car can make just as much power as a turbo car, but they sound better(unless you're into that sleeper thing). Nitrous is the best bang for the buck, but you have to manually arm the bottle unless you have a remote bottle opener. The opener can be dangerous though, cause your bottle is always opened. Also nitrous is full boogie, it's on 100% or off 100%. If you want power at your foot at all times go blower or turbo. If you want dragstrip terror, nothing says luvin like nitrous oxide.
