best tire dressing

i want to shine up my tires. armorall sucks, i use tire wet spray but dont really like the results. i also heard that silicone based tire products are harmful for tires. any truth to this? whats the best product on the market?

I use Meguires (sp?) 'High Endurance'. It's a liquid that you apply to an applicator sponge or pad and then smear on the tires. I don't use any tire dressings on my Mustang, but I use this stuff on my wife's Taurus and really like it. The best stuff I've used thus far (I've been through Armour All, Tire Wet, etc., etc.)

tire foam

I use the No Touch tire foam. It seems to work pretty good. But do not be fooled by the similar STP tire foam. I thought I'd save $1 and get the STP. 1 hour later it looks like you never applied a drop of anything to your tires.

canukracer is correct. If you want a clean, new looking tire, nothing beats your old antifreeze. it has conditioners in it that will help preserve the rubber. If it's the glazed donut look you're going for, I'm afraid I can't help.

Take care,
