Cool Big tires. Time for new ones

I have a set of sportsman I series on the car right now. L-60 28x 10- 15s For me they have done well. 1.6s 12.20s. They are worn out. I put a set of 29x11.5 ET Streets on last week. Killer on the street out the hole, too much for the track. The L-60s that are on my car do NOT measure 28 inches, not even new. What would be a true 28 inch tire. I found a set of 27.5 x 8 x 15 E-mod dirt track tire. It is a hoosier chain link pattern, and are only $95.00 a piece. They are not D.O.T. I don't care about that. I like the fact that they are only 8" wide. They will not rub as bad. What do you think?
