blow thru mass air meter?

Im getting ready to put together my back yard twin turbo 302 for my 78 fairmont. Some know it was supposed to be a 351w, but spring is rapidly approaching and I have a decent forged piston 302 sitting here. Anyway I just caught wind of a blow thru mass air meter. Exactly what is this? I plan on putting the mass air meter between the throttle body and the intercooler, so its gonna be pressurized, hopefully to 12lbs if all is well. SO my question is will a normal mass air meter work? Or what do I need to get? Im using a 90 MAF harness if that makes a difference. Im setting this up very similar to an ICON kit, if you know where they mount there mass air meter. And who makes this kind of meter in the 80mm or bigger range? THANKS>

You need to call Best Products (Pro-M / Pro-Flow / they have so many names!). They are located in Michigan, I think. I think their web address is www.pro-flow.com

They have blow-thru meters for forced induction setups. They also have this new meter called the "Univer" that is supposed to be really, really good. Basically, it can take readings regardless of air turbulance (bent elbows, etc.). Also, I believe they make the Univer in blow-thru models as well. The blow-thru units have a lip on each end for better sealing. They have all kinds of sizes - just give them a call.

Hope this helps.
