What are you considering stock? Can the heads have a good valve job? Can they be GT40 heads? How about a GT40 intake? If so, then I would have to say the NMRA Factory Stock guys are the fastest that I have seen. 12.ohs@113
Untouched cam, unported heads and GT40 intake. andy

Well, I did say BONE STOCK, Heads, Cam, Intake.
To me BONE stock means the EXACT way it came from the factory, replaced is okay, but MUST be OEM. What I am after is the quickest E.T. and M.P.H. from any 87-93 running BONE STOCK heads, Cam and Intake, in other words, never off the car, except matching the throttle body for the intake. ANY other mod is okay, like gears, pully's, etc. No lightweight cars, I mean 3200 plus stuff........STOCK!!!!!!!!!

Factory Stock guys are running 12 flat with drag suspension and 1.7 rr's. There's been a few posts like this and they all end up in arguments over what's stock and what's not. You want to know how fast a Mustang can go look at the NMRA, WFC, NHRA and IHRA racers and see what they do in their classes within the rules.

Just to clarify, NMRA Factory stock requires a 3300 pound minimum weight when running the GT40 intake and GT40 heads. Base weight with E7's and stock untouched intake is 3000. There has been atleast one person down in the 12 teens @ 110 with this combination. Aftermarket suspension components are allowed but they must maintain the factory mounting locations. These numbers are on BF Goodrich Drag Radials too! Pretty impressive I think.
