Default how much for this stang

i'm going to check out a mustang tomorow, it's a 87 with 104k miles, stock, with t-tops, he's asking $3400 for it.. is that a good price? should i talk him down? what should i check when i go to look at it?

Its always good to try to talk them down some. Check for leaks in the T-Tops, rust, original paint(if not, new paint might be hiding rust, check carefully)....

definitely make sure you check the T-tops for leakage, but it may be next to impossible to find a GT with that kind of mileage and t-tops that are in good shape....good luck with that. BTW if everything is in great shape $3400 isn't too bad.

104K is nothing for a 5.0 motor....good luck if you get it, but check those T-Tops....esp. the rubber gaskets,as they tend to dry rot and crack after a while,as do the sunroof gaskets too.
