Hey Guys. I was leaning back into my drivers seat the other day and all of a sudden I heard something snap and then the seat back went almost all the way back into the rear seat. It's just like it released somehow and wouldn't stay up.

I pulled the seat and tore it apart. The back frame is solid and straight. The bottom part of the seat seems fine also. I looked at the racheting mechanism and it appears fine, but I don't know much about these. The floor pan has a small tear, but I have a set of Kenny Brown subframes with seat braces on it, so I know that's not the problem as it looks good also. Anyone have a clue what might have broke? The car is almost undrivable as the seat is too far back. Thanks |
