If you have the edelbrock Performer heads, then you might be right. According to my chart I have here, the Performer head flows 223cfm@ .500 lift. Ported '69 351w 4bbl heads flow 221 cfm@ .500 lift.
You are saving a lot of weight off the front end by having aluminum heads however.
