bullet rims on a fox body
Hey all,
just got my car painted and the chrome ponies aren't lookin like they ised to. Anyone ever put those new 2000 17 inch bullet rims on a fox body. Yep, I know, 5 lug conversion. The real question is, how would black bullet rims look on a black GT?

The bullit rims look great on the Fox body's. I've seen it done on a couple different cars.
They go really nice with a black paint job, as one of the local Stangs here is setup with that.

I plan on the cheap 5 lug conversion, Mark VII rotors up front and ranger axles in the rear. Will I have any issues on with the rims?
My car is also lowered about an inch. These are 17 inch rims. Any problems there?

I have no idea if there's any problems with mounting them or not.

For a 5 lug conversion, the mark VII rotors are cheap - they bolt right up, the Mark VII is basically a fancy mustang, its based on the 5.0. Not sure if the rotors are bigger.

Just the front. If you can find a Mark VII parts car, the rear disc set up will swap into the mustang. Otherwise, you can use axles off of a 91 ranger (2 drivers side axles will work). They'll work and they're 5 lug.

You can buy new 5 lug rotors for the front and new axles and drums for the rear right from ford for right around 350 dollars. Thats what I did. I am running 94 cobra wheels and i think they look sweet.

I'm pretty sure the lincoln rotors won't work with Bullit wheels because the center cap won't fit. Same issue with 98+ cobra wheels. I've heard of people using spacers to get them to work, but you should really just use SN95 spindles and rotors to do it right
Heres a picture of one with them on it. Not exactly what you're lookin for, but here they are on a coupe IMO, black wheels look terrible on black cars. Just go with the grey finish.
