Talking Thinking of buying Stang... Fox or SN95?

Hey everyone. My Tbird has been a blast, and has sure surprised its fair share of people, but I really want another Mustang (5spd) and this seems to be the time of the year to buy one. Also, I have replaced the heater core 4 times, and I think this latest one is about to go (problem that just can't be solved.) So I think this car is out the door.
What year Mustang do you guys think I should get? I want to spend between $5-9K, but not over that. That leaves the door open for anything between 91-95.
I used to own a 91 LX, and that car was great. If I buy a Fox, I will have more money to spend on mods, plus most likely lower insurance. The car will be light and faster right out of the box. But the SN95's have styling, handling, and braking on thier side. Although I never thought the Fox had bad brakes. But the SN95 weighs alot and we all know how that hampers performance. Actually, I would probably look for a GTS if I could.
Well, you guys know about these cars. What would you go for? This is my daliy driver and I would of course mod it.

If I were you, I would go with a 89-92 LX. These cars are light and come with mass air and have forged rods and pistons as opposed to the hypereutectic pistons in the 93's (weaker). While the Fox doesn't have the looks and amenities of the 5.0 SN95's, I would go with the Fox because the 94-95's in stock trim are dogs ( 16.0 in the quarter with an AOD). Lastly, get and LX and remove the 5.0 emblems and you'll have the ultimate sleeper.

I suggest test driving each FOX, SN-95 5.0, and SN-95 4.6...you might be surprised on which you like...but for modding...anything 5.0...
I once owned a 92 LX 5.0, loved it...now I own a 98 Gt, love it even more.

I have driven all. Thats why I narrowed it down to 91-95. The 96-98's are most likely out of my $9,000, and besides, I am not a fan of their powerband. I know I could always do a PI swap, and thats something I would think about if I can get a good price on a car.
I think I am going to shoot for a clean 94-95. I know they are kind of dogs stock cmopared to Fox bodies, but I like styling. And, everyone around here (my town) has fox bodies and its really hard to look unique. WHo knows. I'll update you guys and let you know what I do. Thanks.

If you want cheap and fast, go with a 89-92 5.0. If you want nice and expensive to make fast (compared to what you can do to a 5.0), Go with a 4.6 SN-95 model.
