Question Bypass Valve?

I am thinking of bumping my 6psi powerdyne to 9psi. I am told I should get a bypass valve. Where can I get one? How much are they? What is the difference between a bypass valve and a blowoff valve. Thanks for the help.

You can get a Bypass kit/aluminum discharge tube (Vortech - but it'll work with the powerdyne) for $189 from Carolina Mustang Performance 919-567-2900

The by-pass valve circulates compressed air from the discharge tube back to the inlet side of the supercharger to eliminate compressor surge. The blowoff valve is used in turbo applications, and it vents the air into the atmosphere.
