Question 302 and 351 common parts?

Can you transfer a main girdle from a 302 to a 351? Can you swap heads between a 302/351?

Heads yes, but it's not just a bolt on.
You must make sure the water jackets line up and they use different head bolt sizes.
302=7/16
351=3/8

Make sure you use a 351 intake even with those 302 heads.

smokedchevy, he will have to use the 351 intake bacause the intakes don't interchange.
BTR,I caught my mistake about the head bolt sizes after I posted, figuring that someone would notice it and correct it. Thanks

btr is right, its 1/2 for 351. The lower intakes are different, given the larger deck height of the 351, and therefore larger separation between the heads (which is where the intake goes. Uppers should be interchangable, as well as heads.
