A/C specialist needed.
I'm having cooling problems with my a/c. With a digital meter im getting 69 dg with a/c on MAX and fan on high in 78 dg weather and no sun out. With a guage im getting a full on R-134 refrigerant. last year I changed over to R-134 had the system evac for 45 minutes, changed the compressor oil, changed the evaporator line & liquid line al0ong with new seals. and re-charged the system. 7 months later was getting some noises from my compressor and changed the compressor clutch noise is gone and the compressor works great. The only thing I see is that the high pressure line exiting the compressor is VERY HOT can't even touch it. I had it wrapped with plastic cover and that melted and ever since that happened the a/c started cooling less and less. I'm guessing that maybe my condenser is clogged. Has this happened to anyone ? any suggestions. Help its hot in Miami.
Thanx! Ralph 1989 mustang lx vert. Running 3 core radiator with stock pullies and stock cooling fan (new fan clutch) |
