The races have been pretty cool here (Bay Area). There are mostly rice rockets though but some of the V-8s do run. They're fun to watch, about 150 - 200 cars show up. There are no strips up here though so it's illegal street racing. The cops break it up and catch one or two people (usually the Hondas with blue lights) then open up there hoods and off to the impounding yars.
I really dont like the ricers though, but I have seen Integras and CRXs run just about dead even with Z28s, but most of the time they dont race a true 1/4 mile. They all meet up at Milpitas, if you ever in the area just send me a message.
