calipers
 
Iwant to upgrade my brakes and my front calipers will have to be replaced, can I use cobra calipers? And will they be any better? Also i think my stock rotors are 11" can I use 13" with my stock 16 rims?

Yes you can use Cobra calipers... BUT you gotta get a whole lotta other stuff (best weay is M2300K $$$ kit)...
Yes, the dual piston PBR calipers are MUCH better.
No, 13" rotors will require 17" wheels.

regarding cobra calipers
 
I don't understand why I would have to buy a lotta stuff. Why couldn't I just purchase cobra calipers from FORD and put them in?

The 93 cobra caliper are the same as the 87-93 lx/gt.

The 94-up cobras use PBR 2 piston aluminum calipers with 13" rotors. You have to use the spindles, rotors, brake lines, master cylinder, and hub assembly from the cobra to fit those calipers on your car.

I have pretty much the best 4lug "Ford" setup out there.. its ok...nothing special.

73mm Steel piston calipers
Braided brake lines
Stainless caliper sleeves
Thunderbird rear disks
Baer Proportioning valve
SVO master cylinder
