Cam lift on DOOE heads
Do you think that .512 lift with 1.6 rockers is too much for the DOOE heads? I have never used these heads before. They have 1.84, 1.54 valves in them. I am sure it will float at some point, but what do you guys know? Thanks.

Get a good set of springs and don't worry about it.

Well, I would but I don't plan on running these heads that long. Just until I get some cash for the afr's.

A worn out, tired, stock D0OE head might not like that much lift. Get good springs! If you swap later, it will be easier to sell them as well. You don't want to coil bind the springs and cause damage to the valvetrain...let alone float the valves.
