Default Heads/intake or a torque converter buy which?

I'm trying to decide between getting a edge racing tq converter or gt40p/cobra intake for my car. Which would I see the most improvment with? This will probably be my only mod for the next 6 months maybe the whole year as i'm in college. The car is a dailly driver with mods in my sig. What do you guys think? The heads/intake is about $3-400 more costly too. I've never had either on a car so i dont really know which to choose.

I would wait on the converter intill you blow the transmission. Do the heads and intake, with no cam, maybe just 1.72 roller rockers.
That's my two cents.

Don't forget to try getting new/used 70mm throttle body and maf.
