Post Cam question

would a 302 size cam fit in a 351w?

1989 mustang GT mildly modified,windsor sr.heads,TRW 10:90 flat top pistons,Flow tech headers, Manley vlaves, flowmaster exhaust,pro dumps,hotchkins upper and lower control arms, ebiach springs,koni shocks,pro5.0shifter,chrome moly weld in subframe connectors,new interior now a 2 seater,8pt chrome moly roll bar and HAL K-member,coilovers,castercambers,Auburn Pro Locker,3:73's Strange SS racing Splines 31 tooth c-clip eliminators.

Yes it will but you will have to change the firing order to the 351

yes 351w will fit and it will even have the same firing order as what you got. I'm not sure if the lifters will cross over

the 302 took the 351w firing order in the early 80's. I'm not sure but I think it was 83.

Gofastmercury, the firing orders are only the same on the H.O 302 and 351
We don't know which 302 he has, so you can't just tell him they are the same order.
