With your 1.7 rockers, that'll be like 226 duration & .500" lift, with only 112 lsa. You'll trade off a lot of low end, and emissions will be bad.

I'd get something made for the 1.7 rockers.

The crane 2031 cobra cam was designed for this application (214/220, 112lsa, .513/.529), and you can get the kit with springs for $205.

If you want something a little more aggressive, there's a comp cam extreme grind that would be great... but it'll cost a little more.

When you take the front off, you'll probably be surprised at how loose the timing chain is... for $30, a new one is essentially manditory.

The lifters might be alright, but it'd really suck if it started tapping on startup.
