Post how can you tell apart 99 heads and cams and 98 heads and cams

how can you tell apart 99 heads and cams and 98 heads and cams....what should i look for, im being sold a pair supposedly taken from a 1999 mustang 4.6L roush....but im not keen on what the difference is, i dont even know what my 98 look like.

I know that the 99s have larger valves for starters, but I don't have the exact sizes of both on hand right now.

YEAH , I FIGURED THAT PART, BUT THE PROBLEM IS , THAT I CANT COMPARE, I AM BEING SOLD A PAIR OF HEADS AND CAMS THAT ARE SUPPOSEDLY TAKEN OUT OF A 1999 MUSTANG 4.6L .SO I WANTED TO MAKE SURE I WASENT INTURN BUYING 1998 HEADS FOR MY 1998 MUSTANG, .......

They actually have "PI" cast into them.

alright, yeah i heard someone talking about that, but i never asked, it would be where the part number is, correct.

also if they are truely off of a 99 the cam gear will be pressed on and not bolted on. the 96-98 heads bolt the cam gear on. also the cams will be bolted down with i think 6 individual caps where as the 96-98's have 2 big cam caps. hope that helps.
