can somebody help me identify these...
i just picked up some reman'd ford calipers at a garage sale for $5. i have no idea what they are for. the part numbers are:
8818B 8817B if someone couldl help me out that would be great. i would just like to know what they are for.. thanks, adam |
That doesnt appear to be a ford part number. They begin with a Letter that indicates the decade followed by the last number of the year.
for example E5 is the first part of the part number for a part originally designed in 1985...the E could be wrong, cant remember off the top of my head. it would help if you can post a picture... |

well, there arent anymore numbers on it really.
the only other numbers are a 6067 and a 7307.. here are some pics thanks, adam |

could be aftermarket replacements for a ford... tough to tell what or who made them...

well, they are ford parts but remanufactured... they have ford stamped right on them...

Why would you buy some brake parts that you dont even know what kind of car they are for anyway?

well, i didnt. my friend did and gave them to me. i fix a whole lot of cars and he thought i could use them.
