I have heard someone say something about using a propane torch to heat them up and that's supposed to clean them. Anyone else heard this?

Clean O2s?

I've never heard about the torch. I doubt that would work...and I wouldn't recommend it. As far as I know, once your O2s are shot...there is no bringing them back.

When my car was being dynoed, we looked at my o2 sensors. They were not shot, but they were dirty. We just hit them with a soft wire brush and knocked the junk off of them. I don't know if this is good or not, but I haven't had a problem with them since, and that was about 4 years ago.

I have used a propane torch. Only lightly heat them. Also you can go to a YAMAHA Dealer. Get a bottle of Ring Free. Let them soak over night. Then spay them with regular carb cleaner. This is the YAMAHA recomended method.
