Post What kind of Windsor heads?

K i bought a mustang with supposedly windsor senior heads. I noticed dart and world products makes these heads. I took the valve cover off and found the word Windsor casted into teh head and a plate with a big "W" right below it.

Are these heads World product heads?

Also were heads on 351 windsors these and were they called seniors?

Valves are 2.05 and 1.60 in case it helps.

Also any performance info on tehse heads and what intake and cam would work well with them?

Thanks

they must be windsor sr's. i think the jr's have 1.94/1.60 valves and the sr's have 2.02/1.60 valves. are you sure they are 2.05?

I was more conserned about if these were windsor heads off a 351 or are they real World product heads?

Also there was extensive work done on the heads and it has 2.05 valves

Im almost positive the setup was for a supercharger.

Can anyone guess teh flow of these heads?

They sound like worked Windsor Sr's to me. Flow is anybodys guess if they have been touched. Consider them too big for most any street 5.0l.

they must be world products, valves in the stock 351 heads are no where near that size. John

Valves in stock 351W heads are pretty tiny. I think '69 was the best year for them and they are 1.84/1.54. They suck.

Ford doesn't use W's to designate the Windsor plant. If you had a Ford brand head the number would look something like this

FOZZ-3A674-C. You probably got the real thing.

------------------
92 GT, 4:10 gears, centerforce clutch, 6# powerdyne blower, bbk h-pipe, flowmasters
