Cant get her running/started
Okay, after the fire...
I got it all put back togther and everything looks good except when I try to get her started... I started it up but was having a very hard time idling, so I figured it must be vacume/timing. Well I pulled the spout connecter after I shut it off and it hasn't started since. WTF! I put it back in and still not start. It actually backfired pretty bad once but nothing exciting since. Any ideas?? I need to make sure my distributor is on right... how can I tell? Would it have started at all if the dist. was 180 deg off? Help, this is my only ride and its already been 3 weeks http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/frown.gif Thanks, Leo ------------------ 1990GT 5.0 302, T-5, Steeda shifter, Explorer Upper, Cobra Lower, MAC pullies, 3.73's, K&n Air filter, Dynomax Super Turbo Exhaust, Motorsport headers, RAM Clutch, Motorsport 3 core, Offroad H-pipe, 17in Cobra R's. |
Oh yea, my A/C blows out of the floor and window only, nothing out of the front vents.. whats up with that? Fuse? The small fire was only under my intake and was really that bad.. just some harnesses, wires and vacume lines. But all has been replaced.
Any ideas? Thanks, Leo |
Well thanks for nothing, I did it my damn self and proud of it! It was just timing and a few small vacume leaks.
