Dyno'd today..Car running terribly lean
I got my car dynoed today and the #'s are terrible. The a/f ratio was 18.0 and worked its way down to a high 13. That was after I set the fpr to 47psi. The first pull it was 14.2 a/f up top which is terribly lean. WTF is wrong here?!!?
My combo is TFS TW heads milled .020", TFS street intake, FTI custom cam, 24lb injectors, 190 pump, longtube headers, c&l 76mm maf and the rest of the bolt ons. I am wondering if it could be the maf causing my lean condition or if I need to upgrade to 30lb injectors?? The car made 295rwhp @ 5300 rpm & 320ft/lbs @ 4400 rpm which is pathetic for my car. It dies put fast on the dyno. Its dying out after 5400 which it shouldnt do. Help me fix this lean condition. My last dyno I made 304/339 w/ a TFS #1 cam, shorty headers and no head milling. On those runs, it had a nice low 13 a/f ratio. BUT, the weird thing is, the car only trapped at 107 and now last time at the track with the new mods, it went 109. The dyno graph curves are clean, its just lean as hell. Help me figure this out, im lost... Im considering swapping my 76mm c&l out for a 80mm pro m..
