car won't start
 

:confused: ive tried everything, i changed the distributor, coil , module, starter relay, plugs are new yet still wont start. it seems to have no spark and sometimes it does not sure if it a wire problem or a fuel problem.. im despeate i need help please

well u gotta figure out if its a fuel or spark problem,,,put some gas or spray some starting fluid and see if it starts

what year is it? if its around 89 or 90 look take the cover off steering wheel and theres the ignition wires, make sure all of them are secured and such, my car was cutting off cause it had no spark and that was the problem....

Well ask yourself if you have made any modifications lately. What did you do to it last before it started acting up? What size engine is it? Was it overheating? If it overheated for a while it could be a cracked head or bad head gasket. Did you have an accident and it got bumped around? There is a reset switch in the truck somewhere that is automatically cut off in case of accident and car will not start until that is reset. Does the car turn over with the starter or is the starter not even trying? Did you adjust timing at anytime? Is the coil wire connected? Are your spark plug wires correct? Lots of info missing sorry.

it starts sometime and then about 5 minutes it stalls and then does not start again,. i checked the spark and there is none but in 5 to 10 minutes or the next day it starts but then it stalls again.. the only thing i did was put an alarm on it but when i did that it was fine ., the problem started about 3 month after, it is 1995 gt

Ok your next step is to get a compression check to see if you have blown your gaskets. It might be that time to do some top end maintenance.

ok well u said ur sure thats its not sparkin.ok now theres not to many things that will do that.u gotta find out whats making it not spark..first thing i would do is see if there is power and ground to the coil when the car wont start , then would check to see if the injectors firing,if the injectors arent firing then u eaither have a bad ign module,computer or wiring.check these things and let me know..

I would swapped ECU's and see if that helps.

check and make sure theres no build up on the terminals inside the distributor where the rotor makes the connections? nothing wrong with coil wire anywhere? already said you replaced the ignition module but possibly still have it checked again? If your not getting spark theres only a certain number of things that can be wrong, you just have to start crossing them all off one by one.
