If the battery was out of the car, it will still have the old computer settings unless you reset it. Do this. disconnect the ground cable from the battery, have someone turn on the key then touch the negative cable end to the positive. Hold this for say. . .ten seconds (count slow) This will reset the computer and it will have to relearn the engine, hopefully learning all the new settings as it goes.
Also, the TPS setting may be part of the problem. Try to set it as close to .99v as possible.
