Default carbed victor jr intake

Is anyone using one of these intakes on the street? I am thinking about ordering one but was wondering how bad they hurt bottom end power. My car is more of a track car but I do drive it now and then on the street so let me know what you think. Also would I see an improvement in my e.t. or not with this intake?

If you ditched that f-cam and got one that was more agressive the victor jr would work great. My friend had a 306 with the comp cams 565/574 cam with a vic jr, and it hauled ***!

I may have told you about it before, but my friends 347 has a 650 dp, and victor jr., he also has fully ported trickflow heads, and longtubes, and a cam with specs similar to the f-cam, or crane 2040, his car goes low 12's @ 114, n/a.

he drives it quite a bit on the street, but his car definately comes alive more on the topend, but on the track, he has no problem pulling the wheels up, it makes enough power all around imo.

oh, and when it was still a 302 with ported stock heads, he was going 13.2 @ 108mph with the same induction.

The Victor Jr., an aggresive cam and a good carb (650 d.p. holley would be a good choice, I wouldn't go any bigger ) and it should haul pretty darn good. Make sure and match the cam to the intake (R.P.M. range) and spend time tuning the carb. It will be well worth it.
