Charcoal Canister Removal???????

I have removed my smog pump and the air tubes can I remove the canister and the vacuum line coming to it that runs through the fender well with the fuel lines.

I wouldn't. One of those hoses is the breather from the gas tank, and besides, it doesn't use any horsepower.

Take care

I agree with PKRWUD. The line to the charcoal canister is just an evaporation line and it helps to less the pollution caused by fuel evaporation from the tank. If you disconnect it, dust and other crud may get in the tank if you leave the line open to outside air.
