Default vacuum canister install

How do I install a vacuum canister on an EFI mustang? The output vacuum line is 1/2 inch ID and the brake booster is 3/8 inch ID. Do I just get a reducer of some sort? Does anybody that has done this installation know of a good way to mount it?
