Fuel Evap. Carbon Canister
I recently got my hands on a Ret. DPS Coup. Motor was in parts inside the car.Got the car running ,and started to notice little broke parts. One is the cap on the Carbon Canister. Has some water inside, can i dry this out and replace the cap. Or do I have to buy a new one?

Re: Fuel Evap. Carbon Canister
Carbon is junk if it got water in it. Get a new canister, or at worst a junkyard job. If the charcoal gets wet, it turns into a solid chunk of carbon, which doesn't work.
