Carburated : Fuel filter placement?
I'm near the end of my conversion from 2.3 EFI to 5.0 carb and I've installed new 3/8" fuel lines and plenty of stainless steel braided lines. My only question is the placement of fuel filter(s).
Should I use a filter *before* the pump, as well as before the carb? What about running filters in parallel? I'm using two Holley Blue pumps (One for motor, one for nitrous) and a Holley 650dp carb. Thanks in advance. |

Yeah you just about got it right, place a fuel filter before the pump and one before the carb. I wouldn't place them parallel to each other though.

I just use one before the electric pump, some people say to use two but if your first one is good then the second ones not going to catch anything the first one didn't catch.
