I thought the carfax report cost $$ like $15 or $20. Do you know a way to get it for free? I know they let you type in the VIN then tell you there's 3 items and then you have to pay to see them.

you can pay individually, or you can pay for unlimited. the unlimited is only valid for a couple months, i believe.

someone on stangnet gave me my carfax for free & i was able to print out a copy! funny thing is i bought my car w/ a salvage certificate & notice of unsafe vehicle. this was a recovered theft from staten island NY. none of this showed on the carfax. infact, i got a GOOD NEWS note saying it qualifies for the 5000.00 carfax CLEAN TITLE HISTORY GUARANTEE. this is odd but i guess it has a clean title-not what i thought!

it costs 20 bucks for unlimited..it lasts for 30 days ...

not sure how meny days i have left but if anyone needs one done post your VIN
