I have Dynomax Race Magnums (2 1/2) necked down to my stock 2 1/4 pipes. I picked them because of the supposedly better flow and because I wanted the straight through design.
I did notice a slight bump in power compared to my blown out stock muffs.
The tone the RM's is really nice. They are not very loud though, most likely because of the stock 4-cat setup. They sound really sweet from about 2300 & up. I have minimal 2K highway drone.
I do like load pipes though, gotta love that V-8 sound in our world of rice.
I've been thinking about gutting the two rear cats just to see what happens.
Anybody done this? Results?
Someday I'll have the $$ for a better system but I just want a little more db for now.
