Question Cevini or Cobra Auto Designs?

I need a hood and am looking for the best deal, but not necessarily a hassle. When looking in the Mustang mag's I see price ranges from $200-$400 for the same hood. Why?? What could be the difference between a fiberglass hood? They all come reinforced and "completely finished underside"

Get the Cervini hood!!

They cost more than other hoods, but it shows in their quality--perfect fit and finish.

I absolutely agree with that!! It makes a world of difference! I got the Stormin Norman hood with the ram air attached... I love it!

My new Cobra Auto Design 4' cowl should be arriving soon. I will let you know how the fit and finish is on it. Manufacturers make thier own molds for hoods. Some take more time and have better craftsmanship, thus producing a better mold and a better hood. But just because one is cheap doesn't meen it is crap. Cinncinatti hoods tend to be crap, but these CAD hoods may be decent. Light Em Up!!!

I just bought a cowl hood from Mustang Parts specialties ( www.stangparts.com ) and it fits decent, and has ok quality. The reason I got it was because I got a good deal on it at a show, and didnt have to pay truck freight.
However, I am not completely satisfied with the fit of this hood, and If I had to do it over again, would spend the extra money on a Cervinis, based entirely on thier excellent reputation for quality and fit.

Get a hood from Cervini. My husband bought his from them, and it was pricey, but the fit and finish is perfect, and he couldn't be happier. You asked what the difference is between two fiberglass hoods. Simply put, one has waves, and needs alot of prep....the other is wave free, and needs paint
