Quick, I need 5 lug axles, where can i get them cheap? a friend just bought 95 cobra wheels for his 87GT, he got rotors from autozone for $50 but cant find any axles in the junk yards around here, he doesnt want to pay for Mosers if he doesnt have to, do you guys know a good place to get them? also even if he did find them in a junk yard, i dont think they would be too ecstatic about him taking apart 2 rearends (they wouldnt be able to sell 2 rearends with missing axles) ------------------ 88 Notch, 3.73's, Ported E7's, Explorer int. w/ ported lower, pulleys, 1.7RR's, BBK headers, off-road H-pipe, flowmasters, subframe connectors, 65mm TB, shift kit, March ram air ,MSD coil, U/L control arms, 155lph fuel pump, cheap 2800 stall, Crane Adj.FPR, best 1/4--> 13.77@101.35

Just get them from an 84-88 Ford Ranger. They are 7.5" rear ends, and for the most part, worthless. I paid $60 each for mine. I had the junkyard pull them for me. It requires two drivers side as I remember, I'd have to look and check it out again.

so your saying the axles out of a 7.5 inch rear are the same as the ones out of an 8.8? I know we can get them out of Rangers but i dont know how the junk yard will react when i tear down 2 different rearends, they wont be able to use the remaining parts, is there no company that carries these? ------------------ 88 Notch, 3.73's, Ported E7's, Explorer int. w/ ported lower, pulleys, 1.7RR's, BBK headers, off-road H-pipe, flowmasters, subframe connectors, 65mm TB, shift kit, March ram air ,MSD coil, U/L control arms, 155lph fuel pump, cheap 2800 stall, Crane Adj.FPR, best 1/4--> 13.77@101.35

Why bother trying to find ones in a junkyard, by the time you pay for 2 axles - $120 + 2 drums, you could have bought motorsport new 5-lug drum conv. $188, I did and it worked out great! You get new axles, and new drums. ------------------ 90LX, T-5, Vortech V2-SQ, Holley, Twisted Wedge Stage1, X-303

 | That is the way I would go too Drew if you can find a kit for that price. That's not a bad deal at all! I'll keep my eyes open. ------------------ Too much to list. | FMS catalog lists them at $226.95, but I got them from local performance parts store (Ramchargers) for $188 + tax, and they made me pay $8.50 for shipping, still not a bad deal for new stuff. I got lucky, I would have had to order them, but a some guy ordered them and never picked them up so I got them. Just look for a FMS dealer, the catalog lists them. ------------------ 90LX, T-5, Vortech V2-SQ, Holley, Twisted Wedge Stage1, X-303 |
