Default plugs

I finally put new plugs and wires in my Mustang. I had 8mm accel wires since the guy before my friend I bought it off of. That's a couple years back! Probably only 22K miles though. Anyway I found something interesting.... the motorcraft plugs in there all had strange gaps. The plugs in 5,6,7,8 were all at .052, probably normal wear. The plugs in 1,2,3,4 were all gapped differently ranging from .055 to .065

They all looked normal as far as wear, they just had wierd gaps.

How did this happen?
