![]() Last weekend I installed an off-road H pipe. Of course now I have a check engine light on and I would like to trick the PCM into thinking I still have a cat (in case I get a "real" check engine light). Does anyone know how the "dummy" O2 sensors work. Are they passive or active? I think all I need to do is put in a 2-3 second delay into the secondary O2 sensor but I don't know how to package the delay as it gets very hot and sometimes wet underneath the car. Any suggestions besides wimping out and buying a "dummy" O2 sensor?
