How many volts for the T.P.S on a 70mmTB?

Does anyone know what the throttle position sensor volts should be set at with a BBK 70mm throttle body? I've got mass air, and the rest of the modes i've got listed below. I know stock is about 1v.

First set your idle and what speed you want it to be, then adjust the TP sensor to read between .95 and .99 volts while the car is off, with the key on. I have the voltage on my GT set to .985 and i have no problems (Edelbrock/BBK 70mm throttle body).

Where do you measure the voltage, and how do you adjut it?

You've got to back probe the sensor on the TB to measure it. You can't really adjust it by turning a knob or screw. You have to hollow out the screw holes on the TPS sensor and turn the sensor in the TB and tighten it up.

You should make sure that your idle is set correctly before adjusting the TPS as already stated. Here's how you do it.

Back the throttle adjustment screw out until you can fit a .010" feeler gauge between the screw and the stop plate. Turn it in until you can feel a little resistance as you pull the feeler gauge out. Turn the adjustment scew another 1 1/2 turns.

Once this is done, check the voltage between the black and green wire of the TPS with the ignition on, engine off. It should be in the range that has already been mentioned. If it is not, you can loosen the screws and turn it until the voltage is in the range. If you can't adjust it into the range, then you may have to open up the holes on it a little. You shouldn't have to, though. There may also be something wrong with your TPS. Set it to around .95 volts if you can.

Once you get the idle screw and TPS set correctly, you should reset your computer. Here's a link on how to do it:Resetting EEC IV

Oh, and since no one mentioned it, it doesn't matter what size your TB is. The voltage should always be in the same range
