Cam choice?
With my current sig, along with probably a new Lentech AOD Street terminator "plus", with 10" converter, not sure what the stall is, but with the given info and my present mods, and either a cobra or Trick Flow intake, what is my best cam choice? Any info would be very appreciated, I am lost on the whole cam issue, still learning the internals. And if possible in working man's terms, I am not the brightest bulb on the tree, smiling....

I personaly have had the experance that e cams are junk(ie.cam grinds not within tolerances)and I wouldent use a b because with a stall converter you hit stall between 1200 and 3500(depending on your aplication)and the b cam tapers off big time after 5000.I would go with an f cam.we put one in a buddies car with stock headers stock ignition and 160,000 miles on engine and with a five speed he ran a 13.50best time.

Call Comp Cams and tell them what you have they should be able to pick out a good cam for your combo. But if you were going to pick a motorsport cam go with the E cam

forget the motorsport cams. Go with comp cams. If your interested, I have their catalog, and will give you some part numbers for cams that would work well for you. Just send me an e-mail.

I just got a Lunatti Bracket Master 2 Cam. It's got a 488 lift and I don't remember the duration but it's just a bit larger than the B cam. It's a small bracket racing cam. Can't wait to install my combo
