			 This probably isn't the safest way to clean the wires, but I found gasoline works great. Just do it outdoors and don't light up! After you clean them give them a coat of Armor All ( or something similar) to give them a shine and stop them from drying out.

			 Actually,Brakekleen works better than anything I have ever used before,removes oil and dirt and they look brand new,remember to use dielectric grease in the boots too.
