![]() I bought a new adjustable clutch cable with a bullet quadrant and installed it two weeks ago. Ever since then, I've had to tighten the cable at least 7 times becuase after a few days of driving, I would have to jack the up and adjust the nut on the end of the cable because the shifter would become hard to put into gear. At first I thought that the nut would work it's way back off the cable because of vibration from the engine, but now I don't have anymore thread left on the cable to tighten the nut with. And the shifter is becoming hard to put into gear.
Does this mean that my clutch cable has stretch, or is there something wrong with my clutch or clutch fork?
