I had the same issue with my long tubes.

Here is your answer:
Maximum Motorsports Universal Clutch cable Part #MMCL-11
Maximum Motorsports Clutch Cable insulator Part #MMCL-14
Use a DEI heat sheath around your clutch cable anywhere it is close to your header and secure it with zip ties.

This will give you a much longer clutch cable life span.

When you get expendable income, you might want to think about getting your long tubes ceramically coated.
