Where is the noise coming from? It sounds like your quadrant could be a little worn so the cable is slipping and making the noise. Light Em Up!!

I am pretty shure it is coming either from the belt housing area or the fire wall area. could this break on me or will it be ok for awhile. I dont have time right now to fix it quad: if that is what it is. I can feel it in the pedal also!. thanks for the help

It sounds to me like the quadrant under the dash. If you have the stock one, then you need to replace it with an adjustable, like the one from BBK. Trust me, it isn't fun when the quadrant breaks in traffic!

Thumbs up

Yes! Deffinately replace it soon! They are pretty cheap, and the crappy factory quadrant is plastic and wares out/breaks pretty quickly. I have a BBK and am happy with it(knock on wood). But who ever you decide to go with, get it soon. Light EmUp!!
