Clutch Quadrant?

I want to install a new Clutch Cable and Quadrant in my 89' Mustang.

I don't think I'll have a problem with the cable installation but I'm not sure how to access the quadrant.

Should I remove the drivers seat for easier access? Any other tips would be appreciatied?
Thanks,
Phil

Some people say moving the seat is best. I did not I moved the seat all the way back and crawled in. I installed the steeda one and it took an hour to install all three parts and adjust it to my liking. Good luck.

We installed ours without removing the drivers set - but than again - I'm a little vertically challenged! There is a lot of bending of the body to get under the dash to push the two clips.

I would also suggest getting the STEEDA firewall adjuster as well - very easy to adjust clutch presure.

I'm going to take out the drivers seat when I put in the Steeda Quadrant. It's just 4 bolts and there you go, it's out. No big deal. Yet again, I'm over 6' tall though. ~Brian

You just need to "Put the right man (kid) on the job"... :)

I pulled the seat. The hardest part was getting the old clutch quadrant spring off. I used the Forte unit:
