Cobra EFI
 

My car is a 5.0GT a buddy of mine has the EFI off of a 5.0Cobra he said he would give it to me for $30 is it worth the trouble, It looks like mine what are the differences

what do you mean by the "efi off a cobra"? Is your car currently carbed?

Electronic Fuel Port Injection (EFI) my car is fuel injected but I want to know if the lower intake and the upper intake are different on a Mustang Cobra 5.0 than a Mustang GT5.0 because to me they look the same.

The Cobra doesn't look like a stock intake at all. Well, I suppose it would look a little alike if you took the Cobra emblem off it.

Does the intake say Cobra on top, or 5.0HO?

If it doesn't say Cobra, then the car isn't really a Cobra, unless it was a Canadian model, or somebody slapped a regular 5.0HO EFI manifold on it. http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...d/confused.gif

Iam not sure I dont think it is really from a cobra either,I did not see the car it came from. it had the plate on top

What i was asking before is what you meant be it the injectors and fuel rails or the intake. If you think it is off a cobra, though, i would say take it for 30 bucks

It had the plate saying 5.0HO, or Cobra. If it has the Cobra plate, at least it's a Cobra upper, if not, it's not a Cobra manifold period.

Besides, the lowers look nothing alike. The Cobra has offset round bores, the standard 5.0HO has inline square bores.

I'm guessing either it's a Canadian Cobra (same thing as a USA GT) or it's a fake.
