Not sure exactly what the cobra oilcooler setup looks like but if they are the steel lines usually used in coolers then you can snip the trouble section and replace it with a flexible coolant hose of the right diameter and loop it out of harms way. Place a good worm clamp on either end of the splice and you're good to go. Seems to hold true for a transmission cooler so I'm assuming the oil cooler would be comparable. Deleting the smogpump seems to quiet down the underhood noises respectfully and really really cleans up under the hood.
